Folding the Sling
(ready to wear)

Washing Instructions

 

1.  Hold your sling at the seam.
2.  Fold the sling inside itself making the sling into a two layered tube.
3.  Put your arm through the sling with the folded edge toward you.
4.  Bring the sling over your head and place it on your opposite shoulder.
5.  The seam should be centered on the opposite breast from your shoulder.  The open side of the tube is facing up.

  • Machine wash cold
  • Lay flat to dry.  Do not machine dry, the sling will shrink
  • Do not iron
  • 3% Lycra 97% Cotton

       

     

    Sit Pea Position (6 months to 35lbs)

    1. Hold your baby high up on your shoulder facing you, supporting her with your arm under her bottom. OR Sit down with your baby sitting toward you on your lap and put the sling over her head move to step 3-4.

    2. Use your free hand to pull the sling up around both of her legs.

    3. Use both your hands to pull the sling pouch open while sliding her into the pouch making sure that the seam of the sling is aligned with her backbone.

    4. Now the sling is supporting your baby and you are hands free!

    Wee Pea Position (2-8 months)

    1. Hold your baby up on your shoulder facing away from you, supporting him with your arm under his bottom holding his legs crossed in front of him.  Use your free hand to open the pouch.

    2. With your free hand, hold the pouch open and lower him into the pouch making sure his diaper is centered on the seam.

    3. Once his legs and bottom are in the pouch of the sling guide his shoulders into the sling so that he is secure.

    4. Now you are hands free!

    New Pea Position (0-4 months)

    1. Hold your baby up on your shoulder facing you, supporting him with your arm under his bottom.

    2. Using your free hand, slowly lower his legs and bottom into the pouch centering his diaper on the seam.

    3. Once his legs and bottom are in the pouch, guide his body into the pouch while holding the pouch open with your other hand.

    4. When his legs and body are in the pouch, place his head in the pouch so that it is resting on your chest with the sling holding his head secure. You are now hands free!

    If you want your baby to be snuggled closer to you then use the Snuggle Hold.

    1.  To use this hold, pull the top layer of the sling fabric down at your shoulder so the sling fabric is stretched to pull her closer to you.

    2.  The Snuggle hold can be used with any of the holding positions.

    Your baby or toddler will love the Back-Pack Hold.

    1. Starting from the Sit Pea Position.

    2. Use one arm to pull on the sling material and use the other to help slide him around toward your back.

    3. As you are sliding him around to your back, bring your arm around to the front and finish moving him to your back.

    Now your baby can sit back and enjoy the ride!
